Sunday at Shipwrecks!

Isaiah all dressed and ready for church!

Yesterday was a nice, relaxing day for Isaiah and I at least. We all went to church in the morning as a family. Josh promptly left for school with classmate, Kristen, following church to study for the day. They had an anatomy exam this morning, which Josh says went "Ok" but it was definitely harder than the first exam he thought, so we'll see how that turns out. Isaiah took a nice long nap after church for me and then we got ready to head to the beach for the afternoon. Jakki came to our place and rode with us to Shipwreck's which is about a 7 minute drive from our apartment up over the mountain. It was a truly perfect day! There were hardly any clouds in the sky and no real waves to speak of at the beach, which makes it nice for taking Isaiah in the water. They have black sand on the beach at Shipwrecks and I've given up trying to keep Isaiah clean at the beach, so we both ended up covered more than once, but he had fun and I did too watching him play!

We met friends Kori and Emily there, as well as Jen and Ava. There was a nice breeze at the beach, so it didn't feel too hot and the water was nice and cool. Isaiah enjoyed time in his pool floaty (thanks Mimi for sending it down!) and playing on the beach with Ava's sand toys!

Also, I wanted to include some pictures today of Isaiah's growing hair. I know he still looks bald in most pictures, but he really does have much more hair than when we left! It's gotten a bit lighter from all the sun and has a reddish tint to it, but it's there! (These pictures are mainly for Mimi and Grammy Lynne as they always commented at home about him growing more hair all the time!)

It's even almost a little wavy in the back!

We miss you all and are looking forward now to heading home! It's getting so much closer...only about 6 1/2 more weeks and we'll be flying home, so it'll be no time at all now! And to put it in perspective...it's been almost 10 weeks since we left, so I know we can last a little longer now!!! We love you!
