Caribbean Halloween

Argh...Isaiah the Pirate on his first Halloween and ready to go!

I hope everyone had a happy Halloween! We had a good time and took Isaiah (a pirate) trick or treating last evening with some of our friends here that also have kids. It was fun to see them all dressed up and how cute they are! Isaiah had a blast watching Ava (a fairy) and Damon (a pair of dice along with his Dad, Harley) trick or treat...we decided that when he's with them, it doesn't matter what mood he was in before, he's always so happy with his little friends!!!

Ava was a little fairy...I loved her shoes the best!!!

Damon (and Mom, Erin) was a dice!

I ran to the store BY MYSELF yesterday morning, which was a nice change for me and Josh got to spend a little one on one time with Isaiah getting him his breakfast! Josh then headed to school for the day from about 9 until 5 to study for his upcoming exams. He has anatomy tomorrow, physiology on Wednesday, and then Nutrition next week and then we'll get a little breather! As soon as Josh got home we were getting Isaiah ready and we all met up at Jen and Jason's to head out to trick or treat together. We went to Calypso Bay Villas, which was a nice little safe community to trick or treat. There were a lot of other kids out and we didn't have to worry about cars on the road, so it was a very nice place for the little ones!

After trick or treating we headed back to Jason and Jen's to hang out for a little while and let the kids play together. They had a great time and we enjoyed some adult conversation too! Damon ended up crawling on the floor with Isaiah chasing him and both of them hysterically laughing the whole time. They were so adorable together and having so much fun!

They were having such a good time!

And before the evening ended, Isaiah also got a hug from his buddy, Ava, before she went to bed.....so sweet!

Isaiah getting some lovin'!

We had a wonderful evening and enjoyed our time with our great friends here! The kids seemed to have fun too, so that was an added bonus! We went to church as a family this morning and Josh has now headed back to school to hit the books and make sure he's ready for anatomy in the morning. I'm sure he'll do great, but your prayers for his nerves would be greatly appreciated! I'm happy to say that it is now less than 7 weeks until we'll be home for Christmas, so we'll see you all in no time! Love you!
