Work, work, and.....PLAY!

Happy boy!

Showing me his sidewalk chalk
(Thanks Aunt Wanne for the Easter present!)
Getting close to the camera....as soon as I take a picture
he comes up and says, "I see it!"

He's so proud of the turtle Mommy made
(And now he always makes me draw it with a hat on!)

There's been a lot going on these past couple weeks with me starting my job, but we've been finding plenty of time to have fun too! (Well...at least Isaiah and I!) I'm really enjoying work....mostly as a reason to get out of the house and finally feel like I am contributing to our finances a bit while we're here. Our friends have been great helping us out to keep Isaiah these past 2 weeks and I think it'll be a little less stressful for me once I get Isaiah settled into Preschool on the days that I work, so we get a little more of a routine going.

I wrote Lydia, Isaiah, And Ella with the chalk
(When I showed him the first letter of each name, Isaiah was able to tell me whose name it was!)
There is chalk all over Isaiah's butt from him sitting in it!

Isaiah loves his "Eggie Chalk"

Josh and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary last Thursday. Since he's been studying and we always seem to be on a tight budget, we decided we could go out to eat as long as we didn't have to spend too much. Our friend, Kristen had told us about a bar/restaurant that has recently opened and said the food was good and cheap and that Brody loved it because they had music playing and lights going on a dance floor, so we decided to give it a try. They did have really great food at a great price and Isaiah also was very taken with the different lights and the music, so he was entertained while we waited for our meals to come! We had a nice time and it was nice to celebrate our anniversary with our own little family!

Last Saturday we got to go to a farewell lunch for the Hill's employees that are leaving at the end of this semester. We had a private lunch at the Beach House, which is a very nice restaurant right on the beach down at the Southern end of the peninsula. We were also allowed to bring spouses and children, so Josh and Isaiah were able to come with me and we got to eat some great food all for free! Everything was really good and it was nice to get to spend a few hours with Josh while he took a break from studying!

Beau also took a turn!

Diane and Mason came to pool day! (And Mason fell asleep in the water!)

Speaking of studying, Josh is in full finals mode, which is good I guess, since they start on Monday! He has Pharmacology on Monday, Bacteriology on Tuesday, Pathology on Wednesday, and Virology on Thursday.....I think! Oh well...he has all 4 of those finals at some point next week! He will be finished on Thursday and then Lynne is coming to visit and will arrive here on Friday afternoon!!! YAY!!! We are so excited and can't wait for her to get here!!!!!
